In August we have reached Chapter 5 "Dramatis Personae who are the economic actors?" of "Economics The User's Guide by Ha-Joon Chang. Margaret Thatcher famously said "There is no such thing as society. There are individual men and women, and there are families" as she deliberately and cruelly destroyed communities throughout the North East. Another fascinating chapter that sheds light on how we got from Thatcher to now and alternatives to her economic philosophy.
