This Saturday, Majority are running a young members’ street stall at Kingsgate just outside of Newcastle uni campus from 1pm to 2pm. This is an opportunity to speak to young people and tell them about Majority, so that we can encourage greater support among younger people. Most people don't have a lot of time and maybe will take a leaflet about Majority. Other people will stop and discuss issues with Majority members and many interesting discussions have taken place. If you haven't done this before and feel nervous about it then there will be more experienced people to give you support. It is ok to say you don't have the answer to a query there will be someone there who does know to support you. We encourage younger Majority members to attend this stall, but you don’t have to be a young member to attend, we appreciate any and all support we can get with this event to raise awareness among younger people.
