Based on the story of the 1968 Ford sewing machinists strike in Dagenham. 187 women walking out of the huge car plant bringing it to a stand still. They were fighting for equal pay. Their action spurred the UK's Equal Pay Act of 1970. This film represents an important part of Labour Movement History.
